Reading the "Textbook"

Newtons- this is your HW for the weekend; Galileos and Einsteins will do this Monday night.

Your assignment is to read from the textbook about scalar and vector quantities.  The book is the online source "The Physics Classroom" (link in upper right of this blog).  I strongly recommend converting each page into a PDF and importing it into Notability.  This will help in two ways: the pages will be available in your files even when you aren't on wifi; and you can underline, highlight and otherwise mark-up the pages in Notability.  You will get much more out of the reading if you take notes on it.

Follow this link to see a video on using PrintFriendly.com to make a PDF and bring it into Notability.  You'll need to do this once for each of the two pages you are reading for HW tonight.  Those pages are within Physics Tutorial, 1-D Kinematics, lessons 1b and 1c (you can read 1a as well if you like).

AFTER reading those, go to Physics Interactives from the menu on the left, click on Visit 1D Kinematics Interactives, and do all three Vector Walk activities (bottom of the page).
